#Communicate Campaign
In May 2016 we launched this campaign to counteract the negative effects of the "Wanted for theft" campaign launched by the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT).
Read here what it consisted of.
#CommunicateIs Campaign
Other media, other worlds. Our media, our worlds is the slogan of the affirmative campaign that community and indigenous radio stations and organizations from all over the country are promoting during the month of May to counteract the negative effects permeated by the campaign "Wanted for theft" that the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) has been broadcasting since March 23 in the mass media and that criminalizes communicators who operate community radio stations without a concession.
We seek to reaffirm the role and work of community and indigenous media, vindicating their existence and necessity. We want to bet on the idea that these media reflect us in all our diversity, that they are ours, everyone's. A campaign that speaks of what we do, what we are, a campaign that strengthens us all. A campaign that speaks of what we do, of what we are, a campaign that strengthens us all.
How can we join in?
The space is open to radio stations, video makers, communication collectives, journalists, photographers, designers and anyone interested in creating content that tells the story of the work and importance of community and indigenous media in Mexico.
We also invite existing materials to be picked up by Nuestros Medios during the month of May.
We will disseminate the materials using the above slogan and the hashtag #Communicating complementing it with the word that best defines what communication is for each person.
In order to upload and download material you must send us an email at comunicacion@redesac.org.mx to send you an invitation.
